Birdie was found as a stray in a warehouse district by Good Samaritans.
She is the sweetest mastiff. MRF took her to the vet for a Wellness Exam
and bloodwork was good, heartworm negative. The veterinarian had no
idea if she had been spayed so we waited and recently she came into heat. She will get spayed in the next couple of months.

Birdie’s foster Brandy writes:
“Birdie is a sweet girl who is believed to be around 7 years old. She has recently gone into heat and will be spayed in the next few months. She is a quiet sweet girl who loves all the attention on her. She gets along great with other dogs and really pays no attention to them. Birdie has a great smelling nose on her and she cannot wait to smell all the smells outside. She can be stubborn as she is a girl who knows what she likes. She loves toys but only to carry around and show off. She is house trained; she has not had one accident in the house. She is great in the house all day while we are at work. She likes to lounge around relaxing on her bed. She likes to look out the front window and bark at the people that walk by the house. She is really a great girl.”
